Wodehouse die in 1919 verscheen. Merkwaardig genoeg, gezien de titel, gaan slechts vier van de acht verhalen die erin staan over Jeeves en Bertie Wooster, de andere vier hebben als hoofdpersoon Reggie Pepper, qua personage een duidelijke voorloper van Bertie Wooster. Een Jeeves-voorloper is er niet bij.<br \/>\nDe Jeeves en Wooster-verhalen uit deze bundel komen in licht bewerkte vorm ook voor in de latere bundel <em>Carry on, Jeeves<\/em>.
